Dear Herb, I want to thank you most sincerely for your care, passion, expertise and leadership as you guided our group through Gujarat.
This was a unique experience and you provided access to people and places that were quite unique.
My favourite experiences were visiting the salt pans watching women walk as if they were on a New York cat walk, while balancing a load of salt on their head in the heat of the day; kite flying on the roof top with Pravin's family.
I really loved seeing you connect with local people – your playfulness was a delight and your genuine desire to give of yourself was another reason I would love to travel to another part of the world with you. Take care of yourself on your travels

I went to the Omo Valley with Epic Photo Tours Nov 2014. It was an incredibly organized trip from start to finish. Herb not only had every detail covered he was always available for any questions that could pop up, and believe me...I had a lot of questions!
The drivers and guides he used were not only knowledgable of the areas we were traveling, they were kind, friendly and warm. We became like family as we traveled across the dirt roads of the Omo Valley.
The photo opportunities were endless! Every moment was filled with opportunity. The photo guide Sebastian Humprey was always available if you needed any guidance and ran some amazing workshops with Lightroom in our "down time".
To sum it up, Herb's trips are not for the faint of heart. He gets you in the middle of the action and in with the people. His passion for travel and different cultures is infectious!I highly recommend any trip Epic Photo Tours offers, just be ready to become one with the culture you are visiting!

I have been on three trips with Epic Photo Tours and they have all been amazing. Great guides, venues and planning allow you to focus on what you are there to do … take great photographs! I'm looking forward to more unique photography adventures with Herb and his crew.

Thanks for taking care of me when I was sick. You had patience and kept me hydrated. I appreciate that you kept on checking on me and brought me that awful tasting hydration stuff that you forced me to drink. You turned what could have been a disaster to just a minor bump on the road on bumpy roads in rural Ethiopia. I look forward to next years adventure in Myanmar.

Loved traveling with Epicphototours for the 2nd time this year. I captured amazing images and loved being in the remote part of the Omo with Jeremy Woodhouse and some other great photographers. An experience I will never forget! Looking forward to more in 2014.

Mali was an incredible place to take photos and I couldn't have planned this on my own To start a trip in a funky club listening to music on the first night set the tone for the trip. I have no idea where you found our local guide, "the famous Ali Guindo " but you and he made a great team. We will travel again for sure. First I need to organize my 7,327 photos.

I had a great time in South India I liked the pace. I liked the early wake up and out. It is always the best times. I liked the moving to different places and the overnighters. I liked that we ate at varying levels of eating establishments. I really liked the diversity of trip I thought the trip adjusted well to "local conditions and events". We took advantage of what we could. You did a great job organizing everything as usual.

Epic Photo Tours and Herb the leader brought a group of 7 to the way out of this world Omo Valley. He treated everyone with respect and the tribal guys had loads of fun with our group. All the details and photo shoots were organized and his attention to little details made a big difference. The local guides he found were great guys. I came home with over 8,000 photos and about 150 were really good. This is a professional photo tour company that put the people on the trip first.

Went to Peru and returned with incredible photos that I was able to share with my photo club. A truly great experience.
Not being a traveler I was very nervous about going to Guatemala. So glad I did, it was a life changing experience for me and I am eager to go on other trips with John, Herb and Epic.
The organization of the trip to Peru was exceptional. The hotels and food were great. The photo walks in the morning and evening really helped us all see the different shades and get great pictures. You put together a really excellent photo expedition and the entire group was happy with the trip. I am editing my photos and really we caught it all. Iam pretty tired form the really morning shoots. See you in Ethiopia in 2012.

This was the best photo tour, I've ever been on – thanks to you. There was so much infrastructure in place to support us and I never had to worry about anything - everything was done for us. It was great and much appreciated.

It truly was a great trip! Steve and I were totally impressed that all of the logistics, as well as tribal interactions, were essentially seamless. You've put together a great support team and all of the behind-the-scenes planning and negotiations made it a very comfortable trip for us. (My pre-trip angst about putting my camera in people's faces was not an issue at all when I learned how tribal relations were developed before we ever started shooting.) Sebastian's Lightroom tutorials were timely as that is a new learning curve for us. And a real bonus for us was that the melding of personalities in our group made it our 'best-ever' group travel experience! We are slowly making our way through our pictures as we are learning Lightroom at the same time. Got a lot of great shots (including some of you that you will get one of these days!).

This has been a very good trip in a difficult place to offer photo tours. I'm so glad we found you for this trip. I can't say enough, you taking care of the photo fees for us is one thing that really makes this tour stand out from the rest! Thanks for all the hard work and effort to required to pull it off.
